Choose this crew based on the itinerary. Have sailed the MSC Divina 4 times before and this time the inconsistencies were evident but given the low price point, we still had fun. We booked a flight through EZAir and everything went according to plan. We also used the Princess transfer and that too went without trouble.
We started off on the wrong foot with this cruise. Princess had my S&S card, but no S&S card for DH. We were told to take a seat and one would be made for DH on the ship. We waited for over 45 minutes to get his card. This also happened on the last ...

I will start this review with my feeling that there really is no BAD cruise, but some are better than others. I sailed on MSC SEASIDE in May and was for the most part, very impressed, as that was my first time on MSC. We took this cruise to see new ports. The overnight in Canal was wasted time - we could have made one more port and spent one day less at sea, or made the additional port an overnight stay.
Food in dining rooms was good to very good, but Horizon Court meals were only above average. This may be acceptable on a mega ship, but is questionable on a ship with less than 2000 passengers aboard. ...

Well, we are soooooo ready to go. Everything is taken care of (we hope) and tomorrow morning we will leave the house at about 10:00 AM for the 1½ to 2 hour drive to the airport.
Our flight leaves at 2:40 PM and this being a flight to the good old USA the check-in could be a PITA so we figure we should be at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight.

Free beverage package which was very limited, great mattress, great attentive housekeeper for our cabin always ready to give us what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. This was not a transcanal cruise, but a partial transit with a night spent at anchor in Gatun lake.
The ship personnel went above and beyond with service excellence. The Maitre d' arranged for the Roll Call group to have a special lunch that included an incredible seafood risotto and an amazingly beautiful and delicious dessert. Thank you Daniele!

We chose this sailing for the nice long itinery and the opportunity to sail in the Yacht Club. The ship is beautiful and our cabin was very nice. Think we realized we are not really "butler" people as while he was very nice we really didn't feel the need to utilize him very often. This was our first MSC cruise, we have done about 20 cruises most others on ncl, Celebrity and HAL. We enjoy trying new experiences and saw a great deal for a balcony cabin with drinks, we even upgraded the drinks package and the cost per day was still under $200.
