My husband and I just got back from a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas on the magnificent Scarlet Lady. It was an experience like no other. This sparkling new ship is filed with beauty, gorgeous state rooms (with hammocks for all), delicious food, awe inspiring entertainment, heavenly spa treatments, and staff so attentive you can't turn a corner without someone to guide you or just have a ...

Fun boat with great service and truly horrible food

Review for Freedom of the Seas to Bahamas

We had a fairly good vacation on The Freedom of the Seas. It was our first RC cruise and even though we love cruising, we're not sure if we'll book another with RC. I had originally booked another boat and bought tickets to Coco Cay at a very good price. The company swapped boats and cancelled my Coco Cay tickets. When I asked if I could get them for the same price again, they refused so I had to ...

WELCOME BACK TO ROYAL

Review for Oasis of the Seas to Bahamas

I love cruising and I have missed it soo much. I was so lucky to be able to book a last-minute cruise on Oasis. I am fully vaccinated plus I just received my booster. My husband and I are both nurses. I am so happy that Royal wants everyone vaccinated and tested except for children who are not able to be vaccinated. It is impossible to write a review without talking about COVID protocols. ...

Entertainment through a Firehose

Nothing like being on a brand new cruise ship. The Scarlet Lady was shiny, clean and smelled like the cologne department at Saks. The design and layout of the ship is geared towards entertainment and passenger enjoyment. The dining experience was shockingly quick. I was skeptical because you order from a server, but they walk right back a minute later with your request from the Galley. All ...

Service: 100% Virgin quality service. All crew members are a delight! They always greet with a smile and go above and beyond to serve. Cheers to the bartender Edgar stationed at "On The Rocks" for always making us feel welcome and going the extra mile. Food: 5 Stars! Everything we ate was delicious! Great seafood at The Dock House and Gumbae, unbelievable Mexican food at Pink Agave, best ...

When Virgin announced their adults only cruise, I was excited to give it a try. I loved flying Virgin America and Atlantic, enjoyed my stay at the Chicago hotel, so I was eager to give this a try. My original cruise got postponed due to Covid. Since it's adults only, they were able to require 100% vaccination and a Covid test before boarding. I felt safer on the cruise than I do on land. ...

Leave it to Richard Branson to know exactly what people want on a cruise Helpful, friendly crew Amazing food and drink options Cool and edgy shows Beautiful spaces Honestly won’t go on any other US cruise line again after this ( have been on several Disney and Royal Caribbean cruises and this blows both away) So nice to have no kids and no buffets!! Highly recommend to ...

We wanted to try a short cruise for our first cruise post covid. The Mariner of the Seas was perfect in every way. I was crying tears of joy boarding this beautiful ship! I have cruised 50+ cruises on the biggest newest ships, but this cruise was so very special because it was so wonderful to be able to cruise again after the pandemic. The crew and staff were welcoming and very eager to serve. The ...

Yeah, I went to the Bahamas, for the weekend...

I went to the Bahamas, for a weekend cruise, on Mariner and I just got home on Monday. I can't tell you much about the ship because I only saw my cabin, the "Pub" on the Promenade, the Diamond Lounge and the main dining room (MDR). Seriously, I never went to any of the outside "things to do" on the ship. I can tell you there is a Starbucks on deck 4 and it wasn't covered by my drink package. The ...

Port Canaveral Boarding Process

Review for Mariner of the Seas to Bahamas

We arrived at the Port Canaveral RCCL Cruise Terminal on Friday, October 1 at around 12:30PM to board the Mariner of the Seas For some reason, the terminal has removed any lines/process for Suite guests, which has always been available in the past and appeared easy to accomodate even during COVIT. It took one hour from the time we arrived until we boarded the ship. There was a long queue line ...
