Initial Booking Experience: We chose NCL as our cruise line because it was good price, had "free" perks, and had the ability to finance the cruise payments over time. We had never done this so we were new to the process, and had no knowledge of cruising and what to look for other than what Google told us.

NCL had the 5 free offers, so we chose Free Internet, Free Specialty Dining, Free Flights, Free Drinks, and Free Excursions.

The internet was not free, it was limited. The Specialty Dining was for one evening for the two of us. The Free flights were with American Airlines, and weren't terrible, but downside is we didn't get notified of our itinerary until 45 days prior to cruise date. This made it difficult to plan and make arrangements.The free drinks were awesome, and unlimited from rail drinks up to top shelf all inclusive.The free excursions were not free, they were discounted. The offer was $50.00 off at each port docked at and it was per cabin, not per person. We had to pay for the excursions and then we received the discount after we returned from our excursions.
