Might Be Our Last Regent Cruise - Going Downhill Fast!
"This was our fourth Regent cruise and first on Voyager. We are seasoned travelers, having been all over the world, mostly doing our own trip planning (we are 60 and 68 respectively). After our last trip to Europe..."Read More

It was my 70 th Birthday so we flew to Southampton to board QM2. We are diamond members. Apart from our room leaking from a broken toilet next door for a week ( again) being moved to a room that had unstable floors for a night ( as it wasn’t fit for anyone to live in) terrible waiters who reached across the table and your meal to pick up your wine and smell it The list goes on. I am on ...

This was to be our holiday of our lifetime and had spent many years saving up for it. We had previously sailed with Princes cruises for several weeks at a time and it was marvellous and could not fault it, from the crew to the entertainment as well as the food. As soon as we went on board, we were disappointed, it looked so drab and unwelcoming, whereas on Princess, when you enter the ship, you ...

4 stars again for the cruise. Staff give excellent service and for us the S class is about the right size. We have not rated fitness or excursions as we do not use them. Our cruises are all about enjoying the ship and meeting people. Check in is excellent. We park on the dockside and typically take around 25 minutes from the car to being on the ship with a welcome drink. Azores was ...

Queen Elizabeth met all expectations

We chose this cruise for the unusual itinerary and the ship. We had been on the Queen Elizabeth for the entire maiden World Cruise in 2011 , and were curious to discover the changes that had taken place in the recent refit , and to see whether Cunards high standards were being maintained. We were not disappointed. We flew Avianca Business Class from Fort Lauderdale via Bogota to London and ...

Excellent service and food, and world class shows. Entertained by Pam Ayres and educated by Lord Dannatt, or should that be the other way round? Special thanks to crew and staff, Roger, Chandra, Jane, Alex, Sid and many others. A great ocean liner - one of us gets sea sick on smaller ships but no problems on QM2. Enjoyed different venues each morning for coffee. Never actually went to the famous ...

Boarding (Arriving to the Terminal to getting to our room): When we embarked it was a very smooth and good process. We got out the car with out luggage and a porter whipped it away from us to save us the trouble of taking it with us. We then went on into the terminal, upon arriving the required checks were done once it we were ready to go onto get out boarding photos e.t.c we were given a card ...

The cruise set off prior to virus and went well until half way round when virus caught up with us it then became a mystery tour which p & o dealt with in a brilliant way. The boat was a bit old and other were buckets around catching drips, but it didn't interfer with anything. Restaurant was excellent good service and food. The self service restaurant was ok breakfast was really good, so was ...

We choosed this World cruise on Cunard for the itinerary and the ship It was a very special cruise because of the Corona virus. Everyone was disappointed by the cancellation of the ports. But we understood , it was more safe to not stop in Asia. It was the end of January and we can only thanks Cunard, to have taken this terrible decision so quick, we were one of the first ship to change ...

Arcadia is my favourite ship. I have sailed on Cunard QM2 but on that 7 days was too many. Arcadia may not be perfect the buckets are still about but she has a soul and the friendliest most helpful crew at sea. Embarkation was a bit slow as there were visas to check and a new online check in system was being trialled. It is the only time my luggage has beat me to the cabin!!! Our cabin ...

This was a 5 week cruise, having only undertaken a few shorter cruises before, unlike many well seasoned cruisers on board, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality, standard and presentation of everything. In a nut shell: on reading reviews (after we had paid a deposit) I started to get concerned! Fortunately a very level headed well travelled friend reassured me that the Ventura was ...
