I booked this cruise as a safe option after having a couple of holidays cancelled. After the worry of getting the PCR results getting on the ship was very easy though I would advise taking hard copy of all your documents and don't depend on the apps etc for you vaccination and PCR results. The ship is okay, though I generally dislike the layout of Celeb ships. Next bit of advice is if you are solo they will put you on a table at dinner on your own, with the reduced number of passengers and passengers taking up other options the main dinning room was a ghost town. Mask wearing inside is mandatory, not in your cabin of course, which began to hurt my ears by the end of the week. The stops were not really a reason to go, Invergordon (not the promoted Inverness) is tiny and the authorities held us up from leaving for three hours, Belfast banned people getting off independently and Portland is only a few miles from Southampton but at least they let you off and there was a free shuttle bus to Weymouth. Unvaccinated kids and their families were banned from getting off at each stop unless they were on a Celebrity tour. Entertainment was pathetic, the onboard performers I walked out on every time and the others were retreads of my previous cruises with the same old acts. The casino and other venues were normally empty despite half the slots being turned off for obvious reasons. Perhaps it was the reduced passengers but they were far quicker than listed getting people off, about 40 odd minutes faster.
Would I do it again, only if the circumstances were the same, Celebrity are not my favourite but they were far cheaper than Anthem.
I last thing to note is the entire crew are very happy to be back working even if they are working them harder than ever.
has the usual Celebrity problem of lack of storage, I can't imagine fitting three peoples clothes for a week let alone longer.
