We chose this cruise at the last minute due to changes with our original plans and port restrictions in Singapore and Hong Kong. We decided to stick close to Australia/New Zealand.

The Queen Elizabeth is a beautiful and classy ship with amazing ambiance and so many beautiful pieces of furniture and decore.

We loved the main dining room and were struck by how very good the menu was on each and every night. We felt spoilt for choice. On some days, we dined there at lunch time also. We couldn't have been more impressed with the offerings in the MDR. The service was also fantastic on each occasion.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

We were very impressed with the size of our cabin. We felt that we had more room than ocean view cabins that we've travelled on with other cruise lines. The storage and cupboard space in this cabin was much more than we expected. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise as it too was larger than we expected. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we've experienced on any cruise and we loved the small couch in the room. Our view was obstructed by a life boat, but we booked this room knowing that this would be the case. We were mid-ships which we found very stable on some days at sea that were somewhat rocky. The room was kept extremely clean. We really enjoyed staying in this room.
