I have cruised about 6 times before. Been on this same Mexican Rivera itinerary for most of those... Splendor was the best!! The staff on this boat was without a doubt THE BEST cruise staff I have ever had. Yes, the decor is pink. But is that REALLY why you cruise? Because you need to see a certain color on the walls?!? I appreciated the "older" decor. I liked that the rooms and areas were more themed, and less of the streamlined modern look. Lee, the cruise director was one of the warmest and most exciting cruise directors we have ever had. We walked right on at embarkation since we had fastest to the fun! (Highly recommend that!) Our cabin was ready at 11:30am! My kids (ages 9, 8, and 2) LOVED camp carnival. They couldn't wait to get in there every day. Masimba was their favorite staff member there. He even wrote my youngest an extra special note when we left. We ate at the Steakhouse and enjoyed every bite! My kids very much enjoyed the sandwich station at the back of the boat. The movie nights were super fun! The kids loved being in the pool and watching some of their favorites :) I loved the splendor and booked a second cruise on it :)
