This was our 12th cruise with NCL and we had a great time. We spent a couple of days in Tampa ahead of our cruise and were able to check out the riverwalk, downtown and Ibor City. The ship was very clean and well maintained. Our room steward, Irwin, did a fabulous job and the room was always made up and ready for us. We breezed through embarkation and were on the ship in no time with drink in hand and relaxing. The weather in Tampa was a little on the cool side but once we got to Key West all was good. We did have bad weather (rain and cold) on the last sea day and when we disembarked in Tampa. I still noticed that people reserve pool loungers very early in the morning and if you aren't up there by 7:00 you may not get one, not right especially since they reserve the loungers and then don't show up until much later. I know that it says you can't but everyone does and noone enforces it. Enjoyed the entertainment especially Peter the Piano Man!!!! We had an excellent steak @ Cagney's and two fantastic meals at Teppenyaki along with all the other areas to eat on the ship. Most of the time we ate on the back of the ship having done the buffet. We enjoyed all the ports especially Key West which is my Wife's and my favorite. I already have cruises 13 & 14 booked and really looking forward to it.
We always book a mid-ship inside and the cabin was pretty standard. Once you get everything put away it was cozy, no complaints.
Couple of hour taxi tour of the island to see what the island is all about.
Just walked around and shopped.
Couple hour taxi van tour of the island to get a lay of the land. Would recommend.
Walked around and shopped. Went to get an original Pina Cola at the place where it was developed and enjoyed it. Walked all around Old San Juan.
We fly in a couple days early and checked out the downtown, river walk and Ibor City.
