We choose this cruise due to the ports it included and the Princess brand. However, since our last cruise on Princess, they have cut many corners. The buffett on the last Princess cruise had smoked salmon and eggs benedict for breakfast. None now. Dinner in the buffett always had a selection of nuts. Gone, except two nights had a few peanuts then then come walnuts. But when came back for seconds said all gone.

Second, it is very clear they have cut corners on other simple thing that made Princess our go to line. Deck towels, thin materials, also smaller in size, so have to get two to cover the lounge chairs on deck. Why? The bathroom towels, used to be plush, now what I get in a Red Roof Inn hotel? Is it worth the savings? These are some of the things that made the Princess Brand out go to Cruise line.

Food, each and every day we had to ask for cottage cheese, a simple thing but why? Blue cheese dressing, had to ask each night. Sometimes said they were out, but when pressed they would find some. BUT, it was the consistency of buttermilk and as a test I put some in a bowel and use a fork to strain the liquid and not one bit of blue cheese in it. Even wishbone has small chunks of blue cheese in it. First time I put it on my salad when finished with salad it though the water in the bottom of my salad bowl was water from the lettuce. Nope it was the dressing.
