Sail Date: Aug 2017

We wanted to try the small boat experience. Wind in the sails etc.Freedom. What happened was unexpected and not very good.

Worse parts first I think - which may take a while.

The sails only went up when the boat was becalmed and not moving. Then only for short periods to take photos. So travel was by engine - noisy and smelly.

Cabin Review

Cabin 2

We did enjoy the cabin. It was small but everything fitted very well and we even liked the small bathroom with shower. More like a wet room than a bathroom.

The cabin was so much smaller than one we would normally have on a cruise but that didn't matter to us.

What is missing (and this is a small boat problem) is the lack of a balcony. In sunny weather being able to sit or lie as the Med passes by is very pleasant. The deck was too cramped / noisy and there were far too many passengers for the small space on-board.

We did get some motor noise in our cabin but although I am a light sleeper this wasn't a problem for me.

The Air Con is hidden in a device in the ceiling. Twist to use.

Cabin could do with explanations like this as the cabin steward was not seen.

It was easy for our level of the boat to move up and down from the other decks. I have a mobility problem and found it was fine.
