Sail Date: Jul 2018
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

We have never sailed with MSC before but thought we would give it a try. We were aware that it is an Italian based cruise line and there would be a mix of nationalities, with announcements in different languages, and kept an open mind on how well this would work.

Embarkation was quick and smooth, about 15 t0 20mins from entering the terminal. First impressions of the ship were good. Quite glitzy with the use of mirrors etc. most areas looked impressive.

Balcony cabin was ok but TV a little small with poor channel selection. Any movies available were chargeable, compared to our last cruise on P&O Brittania which had a large selection of movies that were free. Tea/coffee facilities in the cabin are always welcome.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Cabin wasn't the largest balcony cabin that we have had, although it was adequate. With cabins above and below, there was no noise disturbances. Storage was fine, and cabin steward was good. Tea an coffee facilities work well for British passengers, and were re-stocked daily.
