My family and I have been on 15 cruises but this was our first with RCCL. I really have no idea how this ship or cruise line gets high ratings on anything. The food in the buffet was the worst I’ve ever had. They really like curry and you better hope you love it too. We winded up eating burgers and hotdogs every time we ate at the buffet. Absolutely nothing appetizing there. No Asian station. No desserts only weird custards and puddings. Almost broke a tooth on a macaroon. Three times no lettuce to even make a salad. Please just stay away from the buffet. The main dining room was ok but not that much better. There’s nothing to eat after 9:30 so you better not be hungry after that. Ran out of cherries for drinks. Ran out of mix for pina colladas. Ran out of cones for ice cream machine which closes at 9 so no ice cream for you after that. I really can’t stress enough how bad the food was in the buffet. They want you paying extra in specialty restaurants so I think they make it as disgusting as possible. Shows were not that great. Boring and lackluster. I think a lot of these cruise lines are going downhill fast in all categories. Staff seems uninterested and not helpful. I did enjoy the spacious junior suite. Was roomy with plenty of storage and worth the little bit extra. Room was hot though as most of the ship was. Felt like they were trying to save money and not use air conditioning. Dining rooms and casino felt hot too. Overall it was a meh vacation for me and I wouldn’t book another cruise with RCCL.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin J2

Cabin was spacious and nice but hot. Don’t think air was working very well.
