Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

From the beginning, air transportation to Perth Australia was long and needed 2 transfers. Check-in was one of the longest time periods (30 minutes) once at the counter we have ever spent of the 7 cruises we have taken with RCCL

Our cabin (9672) as well as approximately 150 others had problems with the stool in the bath room not flushing or flushing when it wanted to and it took 5 days for problem to be solved. I needed a frig or cool for my insulin but ours didn't work, replacement mini cooler malfunctioned and froze as well as the transformer almost burned up. Second mini cooler wasn't much better as it froze up also. Finally got a frig that worked 7 days into the 16 night cruise.

The aft elevators, over looking the center of the ship, on the port side of the ship had problems. The forward elevator didn't work for over have the cruise and the aft elevator had door closer issues and would cycle constantly because the inner door would NOT close completely. Letting guest services know, several different time, didn't seem to get any action. Was able to show someone with supposedly some authority what was happening and got it to malfunction over half way threw the 16 night cruise finally got some action, but not enough to fix the on going problem.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Stool in bathroom plugged and flushed when it wanted to for the first 5 days of the cruise. Frig didn't work, first replacement mini frig froze up and wiring almost caught fire, second mini frig not much better but finally got a working regular frig in the cabin on the 7th day.

Cabin steward was fantastic and made our stay as good as he could.
