We went on a family reunion, which was the best part of the cruise. There was chipped paint everywhere, towels with strings hanging from them, food not picked up on the pool deck and a huge smoking area on one side of the pool. The food was bland and just warm. Our wait staff really tried hard to serve and please all of us, and our cabin attendant was great. The mattress was very thin and there was not any bedsprings, my back ached the whole trip. There is just not enough to do on sea days. Soft serve ice cream tasted like slightly frozen water that had a tiny bit of chocolate in it. None of the officers ever aid even hello to us. They supposedly had gelato but that was only on the first day. Casino was very smoky. The day at the private island was very nice, just hated to pay $25.00 for an umbrella. Food there was a nice assortment of dishes.
