We chose this cruise for the ports of call. It was a way to see a number of cities in Europe, and not have to move hotels every 2 days. We enjoyed the various ports we visited and the tours we took were all excellent. The service on the ship was also very good. Our wait staff in the dining room were exceptional and our cabin was well maintained, However i had to ask for shampoo, shower gel, etc. We knew the ship was older, but expected it to be in somewhat better condition than it was. For example, the corners on the counters in our cabin were loose, and the shelving was old and stained. The ship looked tired.

Food in the dining room was adequate, but not exceptional. The menu was limited and repetitive, and the food was bland for the most part.

Entertainment was mediocre, except for a couple of headliners who were very good.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin was small and old looking. It needed a complete redo. Bathroom was tiny and shower was the smallest i have ever seen. On the positive side, it was clean and well maintained.

Port Reviews

Venice

Wine and Dine Waling tour of Jewish ghetto . Guide was great and tour was alot of fun. Would do it again.

Venice

Weather was not great, so a little disappointing. We did see most of what we wanted to see, including Murano.

We had difficulty finding the stop at the Grand Canal near the train station. Wasted alot of time looking for it.

Malta (Valletta)

It was interesting to see the island and the audio was helpful

Nice

Despite the rain we had a fantastic tour. Guide was excellent. We saw alot of Nice, Eze, and Monaco. She really showed us a great deal. It was a great day.

Ibiza

Walked around on our own and enjoyed the climb to the top of the old city. Fabulous views. Loved what we saw.
