Good food and excellent entertainment on our 7 day Alaskan cruise. The cabin staff were extremely efficient and kept it tidy. Great service from the restaurant staff, namely Tari, Hery and Subert. Tari in particular always had a smile and went out of her way to keep us happy. The buffets were excellent. The cabin size was a tad small for 3 adults but it seemed to work when the beds were kindly ...

We chose to leave out of Vancouver for family reasons. We were visiting there. I had been told by a Celebrity Cruise reservation person that a family suite would be a good choice. for our family of 4 That it had 2 bedrooms and a living area and the veranda. The problem was that he neglected to tell me was that the family area was the other bedroom! I should have asked for a Your tube ...

One of our best cruises ever! We had an aft aqua room - good for this type of cruise with an extra long balcony. Facilities all good. Room always clean. Ate in Blu , really enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the MDR. The tables are very close together so if you want, as we did, you can get to know other people while eating. Food and service were excellent. Oceanview cafe was ...

Nice Ship, Great Vacation

Our first cruise to Alaska was certainly memorable. First time with Celebrity. The ship is very clean though there are signs of age. We had a balcony cabin on the starboard side, room 7014. The cabin was nice with plenty of room for me and my wife; plenty of drawers and closet space. Bathroom was small as expected but functional. Decent shower pressure. The beds were comfortable, put together as ...

Great short weekend cruise...despite itinerary changes

Overview: I booked this cruise as I hadn't been cruising for a long time though my family went a number of times when I was younger, and I caught the bug again after going on a last minute similar sailing with Royal Caribbean last year. Celebrity Cruises had been my family's cruise line of choice, however, and I was eager to relive those experiences. Overall, I had an excellent experience ...

First Celebrity cruise--less than I expected

This was my 14th cruise, first with Celebrity. 11 have been with Holland America, and 2 with Royal Carribean. I expected it to be similar to Holland America, but was sadly disappointed. The room was small, but well laid-out, and the two of us had no problem finding enough storage space. The only thing I noted in the room (because I noted similar aged-look things in other parts of the ship) is ...

Travelling on a cruise without our children was a first for my wife and myself. We had a wonderful trip. Three years ago we cruised on the Disney Wonder to Alaska, and we had our kids with us. This experience might have been even better than the amazing trip we had on the Disney ship. Our inside cabin was plenty big enough for the two of us. The attached bathroom was functional, although ...

Two years ago we sailed on Carnival. This was SO MUCH BETTER. The level of service was outstanding. The staff were always friendly and anticipated our needs. I never had to ask for anything twice. The embarkation and disembarkation were smooth as were the transfers to and from Vancouver airport. We were a group of 5 and my grandmother needed a wheelchair so I was anticipating a bit of chaos ...

As this was a gift from our daughter and family for a special birthday we really had no input into the choice of cruise line, however we are so glad the travel agent helped her choose Celebrity Infinity. Although we are really well travelled throughout the world this is our first cruise since 1992 and were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews. WOW!! I think we must have been on a ...

Enjoyable Alaska Cruise

This is my 3rd time on Celebrity. I have also been on Holland America 3 times, once on Royal Caribbean, Regent and Seaborn. I know that Celebrity is trying to compete with those latter two lines that are all inclusive, hence offering their Go Best with all 4 free perks included. That means you pay one price and it includes tips, internet, drink package and final cruise gratuities. I think they ...
