Overview:
I booked this cruise as I hadn't been cruising for a long time though my family went a number of times when I was younger, and I caught the bug again after going on a last minute similar sailing with Royal Caribbean last year. Celebrity Cruises had been my family's cruise line of choice, however, and I was eager to relive those experiences.
Overall, I had an excellent experience ... despite itinerary changes that were announced at 7:45 a.m. on day 2 of the cruise. When I fell asleep the night before I knew that the seas were rough, but apparently the winds were so bad that it was dangerous for us to dock in either Nassau or Cococay. Instead, we were diverted to Freeport (which Celebrity almost never stops at). Despite the change, I enjoyed a relaxing sea day and kayaking in Lucayan National Park in Freeport!
This cabin is ideally positioned
+s:
* situated at the very end of the stern end of the ship, which means you can you're right next to the stern elevators that take you straight to Blu on 5
* relatively quiet, only times when I heard noise was when there were performances on the Oceanview Bar
* balcony is very private, slight overhang so there's shade (can be a con for some though)
Cons:
* if very windy out and you don't want to wander outside, you'll need to go down a few floors to be able to walk to the forward end of the ship
* (at least a con for some) you'll feel the choppiness of the seas, but personally I like to remember I'm on a boat :)
