I chose this cruise because I enjoy the entertainment on MSC and it didn’t disappoint. Also there was no single supplement so this was amazing value MSC Magnifica is a wonderful ship big enough to feel spacious (particularly at only 1/3 capacity) but. Not too big to be a menace to navigate.

We had an inside cabin.Wardrobe storage barely enough for 2 people for a week. No stationary provided. Had to remind the cabin steward that things had run out. Thin walls so we could hear rows in next cabin. Incosiderate noisy late night traffic in corridor. Smell of smoke from time to time in cabin.

Don't believe all the bad reviews - some people just complain about anything!
Check in at Southampton. Was the quickest check-in we have ever experienced. Was done in less than 2 minutes. We were on the ship in our cabin in just a few minutes.

We had never cruised with MSC before so went with an open mind. The boarding at Southampton was the smoothest we've ever experienced; from drop off to cabin in 15 minutes. The ship was impressively clean and elegant, our sea view cabin on deck 5 being spacious well equipped with tea making facilities. Enjoyed the cruise and would use MSC again. Highlights were excellent service particularly front desk and cigar bar as well as some wonderful locations visited.The real only downside side was we did not enjoy the shows in the min theatre. However others may have enjoyed so I can only say they were not to our taste.
