Simply the very best!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on American Constellation

Cruising the Inside Passage is a trip everyone should take. I'm so happy we did! The weather was stupendous (even the misty days which have their own style of beauty), the scenery incomparable and as ever, the service impeccable. We were sailing under the trusty and affable Captain Bryan, who makes every voyage a pleasure. Sailing down the Wrangell Narrows was exciting and we saw sea life and ...

Beautiful Scenery and spacious cabin

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive but not as professional as European or Asian staff. Mostly young people that get switched around on their ships all the time. I was told by cruise line staff that specialty coffees were available which was not the case. Hotel manager said they used to have a machine but was taken away during COVID and never brought back. Buffet food was ...

Our adult grandson (41) and wife had never been on a cruise. We had been to Alaska a number of times with Regent and found an itinerary from Juneau to Juneau on a smaller ship and thought that would be something they would enjoy with being able to get up close and personal with nature. We have to say that our experience on ACL was positive. The ship is well cared for, food and service ...

The weather was for the most part perfect. Only wildlife we saw was eagle, a distance whale. Don't go to see wildlife. If you want to hike in mud it's perfect. If you need to Kayak ,ride on a zodiac this is your trip. Food was terrible. Almost all cruises now make accommodations for Vegan or vegetarian but their food they prepared was so bad I had to go back to eating food I did not want to eat. ...

Great crew, below average boat and poor COVID protocols

The crew was hard working and friendly. Unfortunately, the Orbridge "Expedition Leader" was a very poor leader--he had some knowledge, but clearly was 'mailing it in.' He cared little for the passengers and made no attempt to get to know anyone's name or anything about the passengers. Often he was sarcastic in answers to questions to which he did not know the answer. The boat was nice, but the ...

American cruise lines All of the main dining area food servers are absolutely excellent. Saturday is our first day aboard. Our room is clean. The first sign of trouble is at dinner they are out of vanilla ice cream. Wait, we just left the dock. We are told some truck failed to arrive. The next day in Skedway Ak we find the galley guy trying to buy ice cream in this little town. He was ...

After cruising with American Cruise Line in 2021 on the Snake & Columbia Rivers we could not wait to book another trip. We will not sail with them again. This cruise was a series of disappointments. To be fair, the weather was certainly not their fault but it did obscure the views of snow capped mountains we anticipated on all but one day. The Baranoff Hotel - where ACL put us up the night before ...

Denali land package + 7 day cruise in Alaska -- FANTASTIC

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Wind Star

We heard a lot about the quality of Windstar cruises and decided to check it out. It certainly met out wildest expectations . We took a 5 day land tour of. Denali before embarking on the cruise in Juneau. The small ship provided a great intimate experience. The ship never felt crowded and we did not feel like we were in a herd of tourists. We were able to easily meet and make friends with ...

TEN DAYS OF GORGEOUS SCENERY AND CHARMING PEOPLE

We recently travelled to Juneau and sailed onboard the ACL Constellation with about 150 other passengers. We have been on many previous Alaska cruises, all on much larger ships, and thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of small-ship cruising. With the open seating at smaller round tables in the dining room, we soon got to know the majority of our onboard companions and had lively and fun conversations ...

The only way to really see Alaska

This was an incredible experience. The ship had only 150 passengers, so it felt more like an excursion. Everything was well planned and unique. We were able to go whale watching right on our own ship. The captain was able to double back when wildlife was spotted. We saw many Whales, Sea Lions, Bald Eagles and Bear. Many side trips were included. My favorite was the trip to Potlatch Totem Park in ...
