I chose the cruise for the low price. and I also did the follow-on cruise from Miami to Chile. As I've come to expect, more of the ship was given over to "pay extra" venues. And the food continues to go downhill. In four weeks there was never prime rib. Of course no lobster, but even shrimp and crab were very scarce. They are cutting corners wherever possible.

But the main issue is them cutting out or changing ports and offering no compensation. Their communication about that was horrible. They are arrogant and secretive about all such decisions. Rumors abounded about mechanical problems with the ship. They were never addressed. I suspect that something they couldn't or didn't want to fix accounted for our port changes. Mum was the word. Don't tell the passengers anything was the policy.

NCL really has become awful. It seems the business plan is to squeeze every last dollar out of every passenger and cut every cost. Profit this year is all that matters. They no longer care about long-term customer satisfaction. Hey, we'll all die off soon and they'll attract new customers with low prices. They are the Spirit Airlines of the sea.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Worst porthole cabin on the ship. Peephole view was like looking at a washing machine from afar. Rough and noisy. Extra odd noises from mechanical room next door
