The main reason we chose to go on this particular cruise was to go somewhere we'd never been before on a new ship. This trip was booked in October 2018 with Tour America..At the time we were told that flights would be allocated at a later date. This later proved to be a huge mistake. We were only informed of our flight times four weeks prior to departure, The aforementioned travel agency then informed us that the cruise ship company booked all the flights and travel arrangements. This meant that we had to disembark at three am on the last day of our cruise for a 07.10 flight rather than a flight at 14.00 that I would have booked if we had have been left tour own devices. Our on -board experience was largely positive with a few exceptions. The dining experience package that is offered proved to be a huge disappointment. Even after paying extra you are allowed order off a limited menu. The food in the Tapas was sub standard to say the least, The limited fare on the menu in The Butcher cut was however nice though you still could only order one side with everything else charged as extras. The menu on offer in the French restaurant was terrible .The main difference were the waiters who made the whole experience an extremely pleasant. The excursions however are a totally different matter. On the whole they are far too expensive for what's on offer. The trip to the Ritz Carlton was a huge disappointment. You are brought in through what can only be described as the service entrance.. Then you are shown to the beach. You can however use the pool and jacuzzi as well as have lunch far away from their normal guests. The whole trip lasts 6 hours including transfers at a cost of 128 euros each. Extremely expensive way of being treated like a second class citizen. The entertainment was very poor with an extreme Italian bias. The Barmen in every bar were slow and wouldn't survive 10 minutes in a Dublin pub. we put the 22 DEC for travelling because the 20 option was not there.

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

Smaller than others i had been in on comparable ships.Because we were on deck 14 the noise from the pooldeck above ensured we were awake early .Otherwise it was very comfortable.
