Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah

Beautiful ship. Excellent crew. We wanted a holiday getaway. Haven’t been back to Caribbean for many years. Friends highly recommended Crystal so decided to give it a try.

This is mostly a ship for people who like food, alcoholic beverages, Bridge, Mah Jongg & computer classes. Short on sports activities.

Dining: was rather disappointing. Aside from speciality restaurants, choice is Waterside, the main dining room which could be noisy & chaotic with mixed reviews on the menu and Churrascaria a Brazilian Steakhouse which is very good, part buffet & serves the same food every night. The best is The Bristo which has great coffee & light meals throughout the day & evening. Many days we enjoyed a light lunch here away from the chaos of The Marketplace Prego is excellent, the only speciality restaurant we attended. The Trident Grill serves burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches & is usually very crowded. The ice cream bar is a big hit. Liked the Avenue Saloon.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin was beautifully appointed but small for Deluxe Stateroom with Veranda. Mattress was too soft. They did replace the large feather pillows with more firm pillows upon request. Closet in awkward location right next to bed. Only one US outlet at desk. Missed coffee/tea maker in cabin. Good storage drawers & liked double sinks in bathroom. A walk in shower would be better than high sided tub. Took us days to figure out to turn TV to bow view to hear Captain’s announcements in cabin.
