My friend and I chose this cruise because of the ports visited as we traveled north on the Rhein river. We loved the small size of the boat and number of passengers which allowed us to get to know members of the crew and guests. Of all the many excursions, there was only one that we wished we had skipped (the Black Forest trip, aside from the cuckoo clock stop, was a bit disappointing). We loved all of the other excursions and felt they were well organized and interesting. We also loved the optional excursion to Mt. Pilatus prior to embarkation. The cabin itself was very spacious compared to other boats and ships we’d been on. And the space in the bathroom was great! Service on board was excellent as was the food. We especially appreciated seeing local cuisine offered in the various ports. We would definitely go on an Avalon tour again!

Cabin B

Excellent size and good amount of storage space. Beds were comfortable; room was very quiet.
