We have done a Viking River Cruise, but this was our first Ocean Cruise and we loved it. The shipboard staff was very friendly and quite efficient. The food and the service thereof was great. We didn't do to much of the entertainment, but the excursions (included and extra) were generally very good. The cabin was very well designed and comfortable. My criticisms are few and minor, but they are:

1. There should be more than one session on the next day's excursions...the theater was always too crowded.

2. The snow room in the spa was out-of-duty the whole trip, which is really a shame when cruising Skandinavia.

Cabin Review

Cabin PH Suite

Very well-designed and quite comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

Port Reviews

Aalborg

We did the tour of the VIking Village. It was pleasant, but only so-so overall.

Stavanger

Magnificent boat tour of the Fjord.

Eidfjord

We really enjoyed the bus ride to the Viking Village. The scenery and the village combination made for a fun day.

Bergen

We skipped the short boat excursion and were glad we did. We walked around town instead and it was a bit of a wash-out in an otherwise lovely town due to the bicycle race.
