We were in a balcony cabin. There was a family with a young small child in the cabin next to us. The child made a lot of noise and kept us awake at night. We complained to customer service about it but nothing was done about it. They said there was not another balcony cabin they could move us to. This really spoiled our trip.

Also, I recall one night I believe it was Thursday night we had a very bad experience in the dining room. We were sitting with other couples. It seemed the wait staff totally neglected us. A man from our table finally went and complained. We were at the early seating and at 8:00 we were still waiting for our meal.

We have complained to Holland America about these things and got no response. They do not care. Read more
