Sail Date: Sep 2013

Second time on a Carnival cruise . First time 4 years ago on the Victory and we were so impressed we really wanted to sail with them again. Sometimes it's just best to hold onto a good memory! The sunshine just didnt impress us at all. The cabin stewards were not the usually chirpy friendly chappies (maybe that was just ours) some things we liked a but overall we'd give it 4/10. The main problem with the ship for us was the food. We chose not to eat in the main dining room after night 2 as it was so bad. One night I ordered the "parma ham salad" which was lumps of "Spam" with leaves. When I complained it wasn't Parma ham they said I had the wroong idea about Parma ham..Mmmm.

the cinema screen that blared out movies all day was very annoying when trying to chill out in the adult serenity area The service was mostly poor nobody seemed to go out of their way to make you feel special. No one greeted you on or off the ship except the photographers who were very very pushy and were the cause of most of the queues off the ship.

We never got to meet any of the crew, they were not introduced. Didn't see the captain once. We did not do any of the excursions as usual with carnival they were very expensive. The ports were nice thou and we loved Monte carlo & it's beach.

Cabin Review
