We chose this cruise because of the dates. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The only fault we found was the condition of our cabin. The bathroom needed more attention to clean stains in the shower and toilet. There were stains on the bed cover so we just threw it off. We knew this was an older ship that had been refurbished. First time cruiser. We did a pile of research and determined that Mrs. Cruiser and I wanted to be on Princess on the southbound sailing from Whittier through the Alaska Glaciers (Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay). We also stopped at Sitka (Skagway was closed), Juneau, and Ketchikan.

-Don't try to take a quick inland tour before your cruise. Do what we did and take at least a week to see inland Alaska (ride the Wilderness Express on the Alaska Railroad! You will thank me later!) I recommend this be a separate vacation.

We've sailed on Princess twice now in 2022. In April we sailed on the Ruby and July the Royal. I've been wanting to do a Princess cruise for a while now. In the past we've sailed on Royal Caribbean 3 times, Norwegian once & Carnival once. We won't do a Carnival cruise again. We were on the Carnival Valor and that ship is laid out bad!

We chose the Coral Princess on purpose for its size and she didn't disappoint. We never felt crowded and the captain was able to get us close for some amazing views of the glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park. The Sun deck was easy to go side to side to take in the views.
