There's a lot of things that made this entire experience not enjoyable from the beginning. Dealing with customer service is almost nonexistent. They do not reply to emails, when you cancel things on their website there's no way to tell if you're due reimbursement, where it goes, and their methodology for giving onboard credit versus a refund and when they issue is vague at best. We chose this cruise because of the dates. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The only fault we found was the condition of our cabin. The bathroom needed more attention to clean stains in the shower and toilet. There were stains on the bed cover so we just threw it off. We knew this was an older ship that had been refurbished. Terrible customer service on phone and many on ship. Older ship, needs updating. Room had an odor. Carpet, bedakirt and outlets outdated. It needs a good overhaul. Food subpar. We chose Princess for Alaska because we wanted to do land and sea; Denali and Glacier Bay National Park.
