The cabin size was amazing for an inside cabin

We were amazed at the size of the inner stateroom we had. On the 9th deck, it had a king sized bed, a full sized sofa (that could be converted to a double bed), 2 closets, 2 sets of drawers. So much room we even had a place to put our suitcases away and out of our paths. Since this was one of NCL's smaller ships the food choices, although good, were a little bit more limited but we each gained ...

Lots of things change....cabin was better. Roomier and comfortable. Quiet. Entertainment was fairly good. I liked the juggler best. The show Look of Love should have been called Look of Lust and I was embarrassed for my father who is very conservative. Variety show was good. Cruise Director was fun and did a lot of funny little games with late nighters. Drawbacks 1) buffet was horrible - crowded ...

We were a party of 6, travelling with our 90 year old mother in a wheelchair. Attentive, courteous and caring staff made our trip fairly smooth. Thanks to Ferdinand, who always remembered our names and kept our staterooms spotless. Mom had a balcony and that was the best place to be for glaciers, fjords and just sightseeing. Our server at dinners was exceptional. Melanie kept us well fed, ...

Just got home from Alaskan cruise on Norwegian Sun. Loved the cruise first and foremost. Had our very first balcony cabin and now are spoiled! We really thought the ship was very nice, it is an older ship but we felt it was very clean and well maintained. our balcony room was very spacious and out kids ocean view cabin was as well. In our cabin we had 2 separate 3 drawer dressers, also the closet ...

After spending our 25th wedding anniversary on The Pride Of America we were over the moon with this cruise so we thought why not go to Alaska and do the cruise back to Vancouver something on most peoples bucket list. Once again we had a balcony room and like the other ship it was the same inside but this is where it ends. The buffet restaurant was the first place we went to the first night for ...

Booked the Alaska Cruise for our 50th Anniversary bringing a total of 18 people!! Rooms were OK but a little tired.....our room, aft suite, was nice with a huge balcony. Service on board was courteous and friendly but occasionally we would get a disgruntled employee. At times there was a fairly significant language barrier. Food was just average to poor at (overcooked, goopy, dried out)......we ...

Monday, Aug 25  We arrived about 11:35am to make the Whittier Tunnel (the schedule is online, easy to find it when googling). Our friend drove us around Whittier and we arrived about 1215 at the ship. We dropped off our luggage (luckily the baggage handlers there had staples to staple the baggage tags you print off and also had some to provide). Lines were pretty short (I’ve been in much longer) – ...

This was my 2nd Alaska cruise - 5 years ago I was on Holland America. The weather was perfect for this cruise. We went to Icy Point Strait - I'd never seen it before. There was a cooking excursion that was very good. We got to cook our own lunch and learned tips on cooking both halibut and salmon. We went to Sawyer Glacier and Hubbard Glacier. We did not get close to either glacier. We could see ...

Beautiful weather in Alaska, start to finish

We are not experienced cruisers, but we are experienced world travelers. Our conclusion studying opportunities for Alaska was that there isn't much of an alternative to taking a cruise, and we booked with Norwegian partly because of their combined pre-cruise package going to Denali. First .. during the entire time we were in Alaska there just perfect weather ... almost everyone exclaimed that ...
