Once again carnival surpassed my expectations by far making this one of the best cruises I have been on out of the 16 cruises I have sailed on. We travelled from London to Vancouver on Virgin Atlantic which was a very pleasant flight with great service. Highly recommended. On reaching Vancouver we took a cab to executive vintage hotel near gas town for a one night stay. We got to hotel around ...

Best Cruise Ever

Enjoyed a relaxing 16 day repositioning cruise from Vancouver, BC around Hawaii and back to Long Beach, Ca. Cruised with 3 other couples, all 60's - early 70's - the median age of passengers was 65, so we were happy to fit the profile. Best of all, the ship wasn't overrun with unruly brats or drunks! Mostly fit, happy retirees - a number of whom were from Canada and the UK. We had not been to ...

My husband and I had a great cruise meeting many wonderful people from all over the US, Canada and Europe. The Miracle is an older ship and has a few rough spots but looked clean and neat all over the ship. Our cabin (7202) boasts an extended balcony which was lovely but due to the location, blocked a bit of the view looking forward. Our steward, (Barwana) was attentive and excellent. With 10 sea ...

I've noted several other recent Miracle cruisers recently posting about the ship's propulsion issues, and felt obliged to post what I know. We had a marvelous two week cruise to Hawaii this past September. As we booked AFTER the formal announcement by Carnival (which I found weeks after I'd booked anyway), we didn't get offered any partial refunds or other compensation - but the iteniary had been ...

Great Buffets & Dinning room Experience & Tours!.

A very romantic ship to cruise to Alaska {or any where on?}, a nice dinning experience with the Miracle many Buffets, Restaurants, Bars & Dinning rooms! My only caution - guard your plates - too make sure the waiters don't remove them prematurely? My up graded cabin, an outside Obstructed life boat room was very nice with a sliding door railing access to fresh ocean air, CA. & AK. views! It ...

We chose to cruise Alaska after doing so 10 years ago and selecting the first ship into those waters for the 2014 season was chancy since we live in FL. But it was a wonderful decision. Not only was the weather sunny and warm, (yes, warm in Alaska), the ports of Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, as well as Glacier Bay National Park were indescribable. Carnival had a full time naturalist on board who ...

Carnival's Miracle

Oh My Goodness - this is the second gaudiest ship next to Carnival's Pride. It is in disrepair, worn curtains and fabrics everywhere. Rust and paint missing all over the ship. We are Platinum on Carnival and was shocked to see the condition of the ship. This should be a three day party boat out of Miami not the representative for the Alaska Cruises. Wonderful trip, weather was sunny and glorious ...

Sad Experience

Well, this was our 10th cruise with Carnival, and so we had certain realistic expectations. Sadly, these expectations were not met by a long shot. From the moment we boarded in Vancouver we noticed that something was definitely "off" about this ship, and that feeling never left us the entire voyage. Service was incredibly poor by Carnival standards. The ship had just arrived from Hawaii, and a ...

Very good experience with one glaring problem

Just returned a week ago from the first Alaska cruise of the season on the Carnival Miracle sailing from Vancouver. Had an aft suite with a very large balcony. Overall a very good experience. The ship was nice, I actually liked most the décor, though it is a bit over the top compared to other ships. It was definitely bright, but fun in most places. The hallways decorated with famous people like ...
