Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Splendida

Our cruise dates were from 01/11/20 to 10/11/20. We booked this cruise almost immediatly after a great experience we had with our first cruise on the MSC Lirica. This cruise took place as Covid regs were lifting and the embarkation process was lengthy and thorough which is what you would expect from such a company, we booked the cruise pre-Covid. First disappontment when we gained access ...

Me and wife wanted to try out this new 2019 ship and love watching Cirque de Soleil. Got a great price on an inside cabin but had to many customer service problems. This is our 1st and will be our last cruise with MSC. Our our ship excursion we were given a sticker with our group number and were told to wait to be called. After 3 time that I ask another agent and he told us that the bus had ...

Not worth the money

My family of 25 decided to celebrate my mother birthday on a cruise to Europe. What a disappointment. We flew from New Jersey, New York, Florida and Georgia for this joyous occasion. This ship seems to be only concerned about packing people on a ship and dropping off to different stops without having space to have any entertainment. 1. They nickel and dime you for everything (soda, ice ...

Bellisima, not for the older passenger

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Bellissima

Cruise critic, notes from the brand new MSC Bellisima... The newest of the MSC fleet, Bellisima is massive, wide, and very, very crowded. Ship. There are advantages to its size, but many disadvantages too! The price for its size, comes as opposite to your logic, the balcony suites!! Shoe boxes, (better) have been reduced in width to accommodate more rooms (boxes)! The design has changed ...

We have just returned from a 7 day cruise in the med (Barcelona Marseilles Genova Naples Messina and Valletta) and we were quite disappointed with the MSC Bellissima. It is not as beautiful as the MSC Seaside and there is no 'vibe' . The main attraction is supposed to be the 80-metre-long LED dome which turns out to be an overcrowded shopping mall. The Cirque du Soleil at Sea is supposed to be ...

Ruined our honeymoon

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We were celebrating our honeymoon, as we boarded the ship the staff came across as rude and judgemental. After trying to ask for help to locate where we needed to go we had to ask 3 people, one less helpful than the other. Since we have heard only good things about cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, we decided to give MSC a chance, what a mistake. The food was disppointing, breakfast was okay, ...

The boat is amazing. Brand new. That was our first crew. The client care for “business” things is massively negative : Wi-Fi for such a ridiculous expensive price, no business center. Excursions only here to take money from the clients : we found the same kind of excursion that MSC proposed for half the price (we asked for a private taxi for a trip). We also asked when we booked that ...

Potential there, but not realized

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaside

We wanted to experience an Inaugural Cruise and the Seaside transatlantic from Trieste to Miami fit the bill. The ship is beautiful and glitzy and very stable--sometimes we didn't even feel like we were moving. The shows are extraordinary and the Jungle area for children and the child in each of us was wonderful. The dancing instructors were fabulous, especially the Argentinian Dance Academy ...
