Failed to meet any expectations

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Regatta

We chose this cruise based on itinerary, since we wanted to visit several islands. I had read rave reviews of the food, but that’s so subjective I didn’t have real expectations. The food was very inconsistent; great in day and not so great the next. The fish was awful - other than the tuna, I found bones in EVERY fish dish I ordered. We ignored the entertainment, as it just wasn’t for ...

We are in our early 60's and fit and healthy. The Cunard line represented to us elegance, fine dining and an association with the Grand Queens of the Sea. Though there were some good points to the ship including the Common Areas, the Afternoon Tea, Library and some entertainment, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. We were in Cabin 6123 Starboard with balcony. We were ...

We have cruised 5 times on other lines but this was a "Bucket List" cruise for us. We felt we were very lucky to get any disability cabin, let alone in Princess Grill. Embarkation in Sydney was fairly smooth, and we were on board in about 30 minutes, with our luggage waiting for us at the suite. We have a small electric wheelchair which is the same size as a normal wheelchair, but entry through ...

dreadful holiday. We have cruised with many companies and have travelled with P.& O nine times,3 times on this ship. NEVER book cabin A318 an outside cabin unless you are happy to have about 12 smokers sitting at a table at your window.it starts at about 5am and continues through until after midnight. Tables and chairs being dragged outside and above you in the Pennant bar. Company is well aware ...

Very disappointed

Until this cruise, I would have rated Royal Caribbean as my favorite line. We took back to back cruises from Sydney, circumnavigating Australia and visiting Bali and New Zealand. We were on the ship a total of 33 days. Embarkation was easy and efficient. We had traveled on this same ship in 2005 and it was elegant. Now it is sadly dated. Carpets and furnishings are shabby to the point of ...
