As wary cruisers we wondered if we were risking too much committing to a 29 day cruise?
Not a problem at all!
We selected a cabin midship with no balcony and found we had plenty of options to sit quietly on deck if we chose to. Being low and in the middle, our cabin was very stable and we had a smooth journey for 29 nights. Reports of wild weather nights surprised us.
The cabin was ...
Hi Alsteph and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us regarding your recent cruise aboard Seven Seas Navigator. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the all inclusive...
We were first time REGENT cruisers, although we have cruised MANY times before on Celebrity, Princess, Azamarra, etc......This was a 18-night "Panama Canal" cruise that started in SF on July 20 and ended up in Miami.on Aug 7. Ship was very small and intimate, nicely refurbished. Cabin was VERY large and very well designed, but we were on the 8th deck in Cabin 868 and the vibrations from the ...
The total cruise was very good, up to the expectation for Regent. Having spent over 400 nights on various of their ships, this did not alter my high expectations and observations.
We had some bad luck with the weather, Hurricane edge off of Mexico-some deep holes in the water to go through- but the ships and crew seemed to handle it well-the guests were very quiet!.
Jamie and Dana Logan ...
We are on the last leg of a 21 day cruise and are currently experiencing very rough seas on route to our final destination New York. To give you a flavour of this ship our bath is currently filling up with sewage and the plug is broken so we cannot stop it. The staff say that is what happens on this ship in rough seas! We await the results! Last week our toilet flooded and although a plumber was ...
We've recently returned from a fascinating cruise to Alaska. A pity the cruise didn't start in the UK because we're not at all fond of flying. We first flew to San Francisco, and were pleased that our package with Regent Seven Seas included an upgrade to Premium Economy on the long 11 hour flight. Two nights in SF gave us the opportunity to visit Alcatraz. Because it's hugely popular, we would ...
I have previously had 9 cruise experiences with Fred Olsen, Princess, Celebrity, and Azamara over the last 9 years; all very enjoyable in their own way and using conventional star ratings I would place these progressively in the range 3.5 to 4.5.
I jumped at the chance to travel on Regent Navigator from San Francisco to Alaska to Vancouver because it ticked so many boxes never having visited ...
It began the second day! The first day regent put us up in is after the most inappropriate hotel in San Francisco, the tiny, quaint Mark Hopkins Intercontinental; queue 35 minutes for a seat at breakfast and sleeping in a bed with a lumpy mattress.
Formal night; gold star points - up to four items of clothing pressed gratis. Yes, please. A pair of shorts, a dress and one gentleman's' suit (jacket ...
Before you read any further, I am sorry this is such a lengthy report. I hadn't intended that it would be, but by the time I’d finished..... well you decide.
Whilst we are not new to cruising, just new to Regent Seven Seas, and are just one of the growing number of UK residents who are now enjoying this cruise line. It was the Itinerary that first attracted us to this particular cruise. Generally ...
I fear we are now spoiled for any other cruise line. We set off from New York at the beginning of the month and returned home to Scotland on 25th September. In San Francisco we stayed in the Four Seasons, which was great. I am going to run out of superlatives in this review. Like a previous reviewer, the fact that everything is paid up front is a huge plus. The staff are wonderful in all ...
BA to San Francisco (their standards aren't what they used to be!), and excellent overnight accommodation in the Four Seasons (one to return to). Trouble free transfer then views of Americas cup preparation, Alcatraz and sailing under the Golden Gate as we left.
Ten port visits meant several days of sailing. More than enough to keep us occupied from bridge lessons, to interesting lectures and ...
