We loved this cruise. My husband has Celiac Disease and they went over the top to make sure he was able to eat well. One helper in the buffet even prevented a near disaster and warned my husband not to eat something. Our waiters during dinner did a great job of taking care of us. Leaving out of San Francisco is very convenient for us as we can drive to the pier in less than an hour. Grand Princess is a little too large for me, but that is a personal preference.
