Great First Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

This was my first cruise. I had a seasoned cruiser leading the way. She made all the reservations for our group of 7 girls. The food was good. Not blow your socks off amazing, but good. We ate dinner in the dining room each night and the Windjammer buffet every day for lunch. The buffet is huge, too many choices. So it's great for picky eaters. I thought the buffet food was good. My ONLY 2 issues ...

I am Diamond with RCCL and have enjoyed many cruises with them and other Lines. My cruise with Independence of the Seas was uneventful in that everything was pretty much what I have come to expect and enjoy with RCCL. here are some thoughts: High lights the assistant cruise director from the Philippines was hilarious and ran the game and contests in an outstanding fashion - we has a show ...

This was out second time on the Anthem out of Cape Liberty (Bayonne for us locals) doing the 7 day with Cococay. The first time was during Covid, so the ship was at a much lower capacity then and many shows, etc were cancelled or reduced. This trip was the full experience -- the ship was full We are now Diamond+ and have sailed nearly all classes of ships on Royal, as well as most classes ...

Very smooth boarding procedures, the food was great, the shows were good as well, a lot of activities that made the sea days very fun! My family had a great time onboard. Also not sure if the ship was at full capacity or not but we feel except waiting time on the elevators, all other lines were pretty reasonable. The best thing is the APP, we could check, book or cancel nearly everything on it ...

Adventure of the Seas Mar 8th – Mar 15th, 2024 Good day thanks for taking the time to read my cruise review. Before going into the review, I wanted to share that my cruise experience consists of 18 Royal Caribbean cruises, I have had the privilege of sailing on all the Class ships except the New Icon. Although I have been on more than 20 Cruises. I do not consider myself an expert, However I ...

First time cruiser and I had a fantastic time!

This was my first experience cruising (45-year-old female) and I would recommend! I had a single person cabin with a balcony on the sixth floor. My room was very nice and I love they had an affordable balcony option for a solo traveler. I really enjoyed dinner each night in the main room. This is included in the cost of the cruise I recommend the early 5 pm reservation for no waiting. I ...

Fun cruise--though the ship shows its age

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We arrived in Orlando late Thursday night, picked up a rented car and drove to Hyatt Place in Titusville. (The car they gave us had 82K miles on it shook the entire ride—they got an earful). Dropped the car off at rental agency and they gave us a ride to the ship exactly at our check-in time. Easily dropped our luggage and headed into the terminal. Quick document check, relatively quick ...

After reading all the negative reviews I almost did not book this old ship! I am picky, really picky and I am a true "Karen". I booked he one bedroom Owner's suite cabin. This cabin was on deck 10 and near the elevator, which after pulling a hamstring days before the cruise was extremely helpful. The towels were not exactly fluffy and yes the hot water handle fell off when I turned it on, ...

English Pub is for tiniest tushies

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

The staff were always kind and helpful. The ship was VERY clean and safe. My main complaint is that 85% of the seats in the English pub POKE YOU on both sides when you try to sit in them. I commented on this to fellow attendees and they all moaned about the discomfort of that pub's chairs. The obvious is "Don't sit there!" I know, but it was the location of the daily meet and greet for newcomers ...

Good Ship. Good Crew.

My #1 criticism about this ship was the elevators...so really, that's a pretty good thing. That said, I don't recall a ship with consistently longer wait times than this one. I don't know what the reason for this is (programming maybe?), but it was enough that we'd usually end up bailing and take the stairs. Not a huge deal, but it would be if we had strollers/wheelchairs etc. The Windjammer ...
