Background - This was out 10th cruise - all with RCCL and second on Brilliance of the Seas. Hotel info - We arrived in Miami 2 days in advance and stayed at the J.W. Marriott, a beautiful hotel. The only problem is that it is located in the financial district of Miami and there were very few restaurants to select from. Ship info - as stated, this was our second cruise on Brilliance. She is going ...

Our Brilliance of the Seas was "below average", at best. On the plus side, the crew and entertainment were very good. The two alternative restaurants, Chops & Portofino were excellent in all respects. (there is an extra charge. That's about it! Regarding cabin selection, don't accept any cabins in the back quarter of the ship.Since there is no access to other decks in the stern area, you will ...

This was our 8th cruise; first on RCCL. We have sailed Princess (4), Holland America (2) and Celebrity (1) and are in our mid 50's. We stayed in the Dadeland Marriott as arranged by RCCL, close to shopping and restaurants. The shuttle to the pier was for noon Monday, and other than a little late, there were no issues; on board by 1:30, cabin was ready; luggage arrived a couple of hours later. ...

This was our first RCCL cruise in 10 total cruises which include Princess,HAL, and Celebrity. We were very excited !!We are an active couple just turned 50 and have no loyalty to any particular line. EMBARKATION: A little slow with the usual folks cutting in line and holding up the process.Needs more seating in this nice terminal.Luggage was very slow to reach room and had to SEARCH and find 2 ...

We sailed on the Brilliance March 14 , 2008 on the 10 day Caribbean & Panama Canal cruise. We cruise every two years. This was our 6th cruise overall and third with Royal Caribbean. Most recently in 2006 we were on the Brilliance for a 12 night Mediterranean cruise. Our expectations are not high nor are they low. We chose this itinerary, and thus also the ship, because we wanted Panama. This ...

Having taken 7 cruises, this was our favorite. We are in our 50's. The ship is immaculate. The staff is incredibly helpful and happy. The entertainment at night was the best we have seen anywhere. Food very good but they only do souffle one night and lobster once. One lady was complaining about the plastic tongs in the buffet that they are hard to use. Give me a break! Portofino's well worth the ...

Well this was my 3rd cruise and my boyfriends 1st so we both had our ideas of how hoped it would turn out. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this itinerary in a heartbeat but would NOT travel on this ship again. As it turns out we were told that Brilliance of the Seas will be going over to Europe permanently and I am hoping they decide to dry dock it for a bit to do some much need ...

We are a family of 4. Kids are 10 and 11. We are in our 40's. This was our 6th cruise, the second with RCC. Our first RCC cruise was on the sister ship the Radiance. Overall on this cruise we had a terrific time. The ship is clean and beautiful. The staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. This is our first cruise longer than a week and boy I could get used to that! We had a JS on the 3/16th ...

First a little about us, this was our 11th cruise but only 2nd on RCCL, also our first Radiance class ship. This was our longest cruise and definitely our best cruise! There has been a lot of recent reviews for the Brilliance so I won't bore you will all the details. The ship is magnificent and would definitely sail her again. All the glass and the dramatic atrium are stunning. Pre-cruise in ...
