Crew is the only thing that keeps this ship alive!

I will start my review by saying my wife and I are 60, a little plus and minus. We have been on about 30 cruises with most of our time spent on Celebrity ships. Except for the Paul Gauguin, this was our first entry in what I expected to be the high-end cruise market. I have to start by giving the crew of this ship the highest possible praise. Not sure how Regent makes it happen, but I believe ...

Previous cruises with Seabourn and Regent Mariner. Very disappointed, inconsistent quality of service in the Compass Rose, dismissive concierge staff and a Captain who is rarely visible and walks past passengers ignoring them. Many complaints from passengers about poor service and poor quality of food in the restraunts. The Cruise started badly, on boarding presented with a card thanking me ...

My wife and I have a preference for smaller ships and although experienced cruisers have yet to explore the 'luxury' market. The small ships are rapidly disappearing from the mainstream providers and so time for a change. Our first foray into the field was Star Pride last year and of coarse any comparison is mainly against that experience. On both occasions our accommodation was a centrally ...

We had sailed on the Regent Marina last year, flying to Rio de Janeiro. We decided to book this trip for the value (sale price) and also to travel with some friends who had not experienced some of the ports. There are lots of positives so I will start with those: We had a free upgrade to a Penthouse Suite which was very luxurious and had butler service. The service in the room and bars was ...

We chose this cruise to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Having sailed on several 5* lines, we wanted something extra special, so we opted for Regent. We stayed in a concierge suite 836, just above the small lifeboat. This position was perfect. Navigator is a lovely ships, even better for her recent refurbishment, she looks wonderful. This ship has everything you would want, lovely ...

This ship recently underwent a complete renovation, and it is very elegant and beautiful. The food was wonderful, as was the staff and the service. The entertainment was good, not great, but the cruise director made for a fun time. The variety of shore excursions offered was good, and we really enjoyed most of them. I highly recommended a trip on this ship, and the stops in the Mediterranean ...
