We have cruised several times our 4th with Carnival. We booked Air, Cruise and Hotels with Carnival and glad I did as I did not have to worry about anything. Upon departure we brought Euros with us. Getting money is no problem atms everywhere. Day 1: Our flights were smooth but very long we flew AA over. Arrived Rome for 2 day pre cruise at 8am, Carnival people right there to help you thru ...

Please enter your review. Cruise Critic Review Carnival Liberty Mediterranean Cruise 10/22 - 11/3 Before I even begin to offer a Cruise Critic report, I first have to report that this will be done with a slight slant, and that being one with a handicapped condition. Back in August, I had the unfortunate luck in tearing my Achilles tendon - ouch, it hurt! I progressed from the black boot cast to ...

My girlfriend and myself left our families at home and embarked on this great trip. This itinerary was so exciting that we booked this about 18 months ahead of time. We were on the 10/10/06 sailing. Embarkation took about 10 minutes which was wonderful we arrived by private car service after spending a few days in Rome. Once on board we went to our room which I thought was small compared to ...

I realize I'm late in my review (we sailed in October), but since I looked to this site for information before we (my mother, my sister and me) sailed, I thought I'd add my review to the rest. First why the cruise. Although my mother and I had been on a previous Mediterranean cruise and have travelled throughout Europe, this was my sister's first trip to Europe and my mother has difficulty in ...

Carnival Liberty, Oct. 22-Nov. 3 2006, 12-day, out of Rome This was our 12th cruise, the 6th on Carnival (the other 5 were on the Sensation, Victory and Jubilee, Ecstasy and Conquest). The other 6 cruises were on Royal Caribbean (Monarch, Rhapsody and Splendour), Celebrity (Galaxy and Mercury) and Norwegian Sea. We still prefer RCL to the other cruise lines, but continue to cruise Carnival ...

We just returned from our 12 day Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Carnival Liberty. First of all, the ship was lovely. I guess I would call it "bold elegance." Still somewhat "glitzy", but not wild and gaudy like other Carnival ships. This was our 6th Carnival cruise. Let me say that we have not sailed Carnival in many years as we had a bad experience once, and switched to other cruise lines. ...

My wife and I along with another couple went on the Sept 28 Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Carnival Liberty and boy did we have a great time! It wasn't a relaxing trip since we were always on the go, but nonetheless it was a very exciting one and got to see a lot of beautiful places. I'll break down each port and mention what we did on each port and make some suggestions on where to go and what ...

****** A bit about us ****** Hi everybody, my name is Jason and my wife (Tina) and I picked this cruise as it had a very good itinerary and it was a good price. This was our first cruise experience and we figured that this would be a good way to get our feet wet (try to cruising experience without breaking the bank). We both love Europe and have been to several destinations in Europe before. We ...

Carnival has been very good to us..so far! This was our third Carnival Cruise and the longest, 12 days and furthest away from Los Angeles! We had traveled on Carnival Spirit to Alaska in May '06 and Carnival Pride to the Mexican Riviera in '04. Both these trips were 7 day cruises. We left LAX for the first "leg" of our 14+hour flight. It seems there are no direct flights to Rome from LA. We flew ...

We are a family of three, two adults and our preteen daughter. We booked this ship for a number of reasons...price, ports and kids program. We had sailed with Carnival before to Alaska and had a very good experience. It was very family oriented and cultural to Alaska so we figured it would be to Europe also, and we were correct. All three of us had a wonderful time on the ship and in each port. ...
