We selected a cabin midship with no balcony and found we had plenty of options to sit quietly on deck if we chose to. Being low and in the middle, our cabin was very stable and we had a smooth journey for 29 nights. Reports of wild weather nights surprised us.

We chose Regent due to the "all inclusive" pricing. However, we were somewhat dissatisfied this trip (our third cruise with Regent). The long wait to be transferred from the Mark Hopkins Hotel to the pier was not good. We had to wait almost two hours.
