We always heard great things about regent so we decided to take a chance and do a cruise with them. The service was pitiful. The waiters at the restaurants seemed to be all very overworked and it took a long time to get noticed and to have someone take your order (not even going to mention the time it took for food to arrive). Let me begin by saying that since 2008 we have loved Regent cruises. Many cruises on the Navigator and the Mariner. But something is slowly happening to the Regent brand that is both unfortunate and shameful. Head Office seems to slowly want to destroy what was once a great company with a unique "all inclusive" concept. Regent still claims 6 Star service but this must be amended as false ...

Embarkation in Hong Kong took about 15 minutes and without incident. We were on the same ship in the Caribbean in March, so we knew what to expect. Our Luggage were delivered within 1/2 hour.
