I was presently surprised at how easy and seamless the Princess Medallion was! It was just as easy as Princess had demonstrated!! It’s so easy to find your travel companions or order your drinks anywhere on the ship! Very nice addition! After 2-years of not cruising because of Covid 19, our first cruise out was on the Grand Princess April 19,2022 we had a mini suite. Our cruise was ...

Another fantastic Princess cruise complete. We were on the Grand from LA to Vancouver in April. It was originally a 6 night cruise but 2 nights were canceled due to the ship going into dry dock after we disembarked in Vancouver. From arrival at LAX, meeting up with the Princess rep, a smooth transfer to the ship, very efficient Covid testing prior to check in and a seamless embarkation. Very ...

I was excited to sail again and was looking forward to Princess' new Medallion Class experience. Using the Princess app made pre-embarkation easy. Completing all off the forms and uploading ID photos in advance made check-in at the pier a breeze. Of course, there were only 565 passengers (on a ship with a capacity of 2600) on this short voyage so there were no lines. In California, proof of ...

Princess is working hard to welcome everyone back to the world!

We chose this cruise because it was only four days and we wanted to see how cruising has changed since the pandemic. What we've lost are big dance parties and chocolates on our pillows. We still have good performances, numerous trivia games, many movies, upgraded large TV's in cabins, and many activities. The cruise staff goes above and beyond to make sure passengers are entertained. The comedian ...

A pretty pleasant return to big-ship cruising on Princess

The Missus and I last sailed on the Grand Princess on a 2020 New Year's cruise to Hawaii and back. A couple of voyages later, the ship wound up in the COVID headlines. We thought we would never get to sail on her again; at the time of our cruise, Grand Princess was headed to Southampton later in the year for Mediterranean cruises. At least, that *was* the plan. Cut to 2021. The Grand is now ...

An almost complete let down compared to prior princess cruises

We had decided to cruise on princess for our third time this October and brought a friend for their first cruise on princess. Prior to going we talked up the wonderful experiences we’ve had on princess before. What a let down and embarrassment this cruise was. With the exception of the wonderful staff this was the worst cruise I’ve experienced. It seems that princess is cutting corners and costs ...

We chose this simple 4 day cruise just to get back to cruising again after 5 cruise cancellations this past year. We wanted to see for ourselves the new protocols and procedures that are currently in place. We wanted to be prepared for the cruises we have booked for early 2022. This was a fun, short, cruise that answered those questions. Princess , and particularly the Grand Princess were well ...

We didn’t want to get off the Grand Princess ship after completing a five day trip to Cabo! We had enjoyed ourselves so much with staff we didn’t want to go home so quickly! The Facet Salesmen were so fun to talk with and they gave us the best deals! Harry the Manager, genuinely cares about your shopping deals are good for you. None of them are pushy, they suggest items similar to compare to make ...

Princess is Back and Keeping Us Safe!

So great to be be back! This is actually my second cruise back. I went on one 2 weeks ago. Ships are running at reduced capacity. Everyone is vaccinated and tested before they board. Not crazy about all of the people running around in shorts and flip flops in the dining room. But Princess' Covid protocols are on point. Some passengers are being jerks about the onboard mask mandate - but ...

Best Show I’ve ever seen anywhere!

I’d always heard this ship was fun. It is! Great food, service- But we saw this show, An entertainer named DARREN DOWLER. Singer, guitarist, impressionist, darn good looking! Truly it was the best show I’ve ever seen. Many people were upset because it was the first night and they missed him. He should have been on the first real sea day. He’s a legit star. Most cruise shows are so-so, but this was ...
