The Princess cruise was our friend's suggestion, and the six of us were totally happy with it - we all had a wonderful, memorable time!
I was happily surprised at the crew and staff's friendliness and helpfulness.
The food, sights, entertainment, and everything else were excellent. The only fault I noticed was a door latch that needed some attention on the top, outside deck. This is a ...
I had originally wanted to sail round trip from San Francisco so I didn't have to get on a plane to get to the ship, but my husband wanted to add a land tour so I worked with a wonderful Princess travel consultant who was a great help. I like doing my flights and transfers through the cruise company I am working with as it puts the whole package together very smoothly.
Had a great time ...
This cruise was recommended by our travel agent. We left from Vancouver and had a wonderful 3 days exploring this marvelous city before embarking on our ship. Overall the ship was very nice, we had a balcony cabin which I would highly recommended for this cruise. The cabin was spacious and comfortable with plenty of hanging and storage space. Service of our cabin was exceptional and all staff ...
This was our first Alaskan Cruise and our first cruise with Princess. We chose this cruise because we got a good deal on a balcony room. The cruise was very nice, enjoyed Mendaha Glacier and Glacier Bay. We were suppose to do the Yukon and White Pass Summit train ride but there was a land slide a few days before we got there and they were still clearing it so they took us by bus to Caribou Cross, ...
I chose this cruise because I was invited to go with a group of friends who already booked. In addition I wanted to do the land portion as I had previously done a “cruise only” on Regents if the Sea. The ship was nice, but I felt it could have had a refresh. The two main dining rooms were very nice and the food was very good. The buffet was also good. We purchased the beverage package ...
We chose this cruise to Alaska based on the itinerary leaving from Van Couver. It was a land/sea package through Costco and everyone said that when cruising Alaska, Princess was the way to go. Boy, were we disappointed with Princess and so sorry we did not take Celebrity or Holland! It was our First and LAST cruise on PRINCESS. Although we loved the itinerary and ports, the food was awful and ...
This cruise was very well organized, especially embarkation when the crew directed us to our cabin right from the start. Our cabin was clean and well kept and peaceful. Having a room with a balcony was amazing because we could sit outside and enjoy the views, especially of the glaciers and the icebergs, and the wildlife. We enjoyed the dining experience from choices of food, to wait-staff, to ...
Loved Alaska and wanted to return. Chose Princess for the great kid's program! Princess is the best for Alaska. The berth locations were always close and convenient. The transfer from Anchorage to Whittier was more like a shore excursion with the driver being a native Alaskan and provided lots of great historical information and answered questions that we had about Alaska, Travel, Glaciers, ...
Recommended by a family member. The inside passage was beautiful and the weather was perfect for viewing the rugged, wild coast of British Columbia and Alaska. Menu was extremely limited in the formal dining room. The wait staff was very efficient and patient, but I felt rushed as they made preparation for the 2nd seating. Staff to passenger communication was problematic. Passengers would have to ...
This was our first time on Princess. Ship is beautiful and well maintained, the staff are very hard working and always have a smile. The dining in all areas was very good with a good range of different foods. We did not go into the theatre so cannot comment on the shows, we went to a different bar most nights and they all had there own entertainment on. The tours we did were misty fjords flight in ...
