I am surprised by how bad the food is and the ship is dirty. The staff are good but seemed to be trained not to give bigger than a child serving for the Buffett. The prime rib a few nights ago turned out to be a few bites of beef. They cut such small bite size pieces I felt bad for the carver. Awful. Just ruined a good prime rib why bother?? The room and wait staff were excellent as always. I was on this ship when it was the latest and greatest. Unfortunately not so much anymore. We just got home from 7 beautiful days in the Caribbean . The weather was gorgeous, the ship was beautiful. We had an aft balcony room and would choose that again. The embarkation process in port canaveral was ridiculous! No fault of carnival, the terminal was jam packed with people, 3 large ships were doing the same thing at the same time, and they could not control the traffic!

Went on cruise 11/24/12 on the Carnival Dream! Ship was very clean and cabin attendant was fantastic. Great value; we enjoyed every moment of this vacation. All of the personnel aboard the Sun are friendly and professional. This was an excellent value and the trip, crew, food and ease of freestyle cruising and even our fellow cruise passengers exceeded our expectations.
