Terrible....Food was disgusting. The cheers package with is unlimited drinking is a lie. First of all it's 15 drinks a day including water. The bartenders are horrible and they do everything they can to ignore you. Once you get there attention they can only give you one drink at a time and if you are with your a partner, they have to be there to in order to get the drink. in one day i was only ...

Overall, this was a fun 3 day trip to the Bahamas. Our cabin was clean except for the black substance on the curtains. The beds/pillows were comfortable. Our balcony was a little rough looking. Rust spots and chipped paint. The food was mediocre. My pizza-loving son and husband didn't like the pizza that was available 24 hrs a day. No food was terrible or outstanding. Service in the main ...

A Lot of Fun

I read a lot of reviews before this cruise. Some good, a lot bad. The cruise started out on his energy and stayed that way. The ship is older, and it definitely is not like all the new larger ships, but it surely had all the elements I remember cruises offered. They had servers walking around offering drinks, they kept the halls and main areas tidy and free from equipment. Most of the ...

This was my first cruise and after reading a lot of the reviews about the "Sensation" being a ship that was small and needed updating. I found it to be quite accommodating. The room was what I would consider large and had a very nice ocean view window. The 3 closets were more then enough for the clothes for two adults. The housekeeping staff kept things nice and tidy. We both enjoyed returning ...

Well we started off at the Port Canaveral Cruise port. It was very organized and well done. We were on the boat by 11. We had lunch on the lido deck as our room was not ready yet. Our room was ready and decorated with Anniversay get up thanks to my awesome hubby of 17 years.( he did good, I was suprised!) Anywho, our room was plenty sufficient size wise for 2. We had a king bed with ocean view. ...

Not Your Usual Carnival Cruise/Ship

We have been on many cruises, but this one was less than which we are accustomed. The ship is in much need of "maintenance" . Also, I agree with several previous Cruise Critic reviews of the same ship/cruise, service was less than "Carnival" and food quality continues to trend towards mediocre. Our room, (ocean view) had two overhead "bunk" type pull down beds, (for the two of us) which ...

First off the islands were a lot of fun beautiful and the weather was good for island days. The buffet were barely open. Lido deck quiet not much music or action going on, the cruise director tried his best but I feel he is limited on what Carnival allows him to do. Ordered the drink package barely used it and the one day at sea we did use our 15 drinks, we were told we could not purchase anymore ...

My sister suggested I try Carnival because I prefer RCI so why not, we cruise every year just for a break. Very disappointing, service, food quality and lack of enthusiasm . The crew spent little if anytime ensuring you had the best time possible, they seemed as though they were doing a job each day and you were just part of the work area. Chipping paint off the the deck rails on the deck above ...

This was our first cruise, a bargain, short, in an outside cabin on the lowest (Riviera) deck. It was wonderful! The cabin was very nice, large enough, and the beds were very comfortable. Although we were on the ocean, and, as far as I know this ship has no stabilizers, there was very little motion (I am prone to sickness, but didn't take any medication). The food, especially, was ...

This was our second cruise as a couple. The point of it was to break up our winter. We wanted to get somewhere it was sunny and warm. We didn't much care where the cruise was going so long as it was warm. We got a good deal on the price for an inside cabin. The ship itself seemed to be in good condition. Nothing looked shabby though some of the decor seemed a little dated. I'm not ...
