On boarding the ship my wife and I were shocked to find our cabin would only be serviced once a day. This was not a cheap cruise particularly when paying in Aussie $. Royal Caribbean left this to the cabin steward to try and explain. Very poor effort on behalf of the management team to leave this to the cabin attendant. Surely a cabin cleaned twice a day provides a much more healthier environment ...
This Cruise was over priced and it absolutely under delivered, consequently we will never be sailing with Royal Caribbean again.
As we have cruised with them on a number of occasions previously, we feel that the criticisms listed below are completely justified.
The entertainment was extremely poor, (and that is being generous) nowhere near the standard of previous cruises we’ve ...
We were on the 18 night Bottom end Aus/NZ 25/2. We had a great time, pity the weather was not a bit warmer. We were apprehensive about the the bushfires only to be faced with the Corona virus and travel restrictions. A stressful time. Ship and crew were great and we really enjoyed ourselves.
The only thing that we did not like was the Royalup and Royaldown policy which is a waste of time and ...
This cruise didn’t meet my expectations. The menu in the dining room was very disappointing. We ate most of our meals in the buffet which was pretty good. Many people on the ship had guaranteed cabins but didn’t get it till the night before and if you were on a b2b you had to change rooms. Very disorganized. Embarkation was the longest of any prior cruise and the long delay to get off at various ...
We chose the cruise for the itinerary and just assumed that everything else would be OK, as Royal Caribbean is a known brand name. Unfortunately, not so. The standards of service and food were poor, The quality of the food was acceptable (but by no means notable), but having it served up in pretty much the same way every single day was monotonous in the extreme. We could not wait to get off ...
The start of the cruise was delayed by about 12 hours due to really bad weather in the area we were suppose to travel through at the beginning of this cruise. Again, Captain Sindre was watching out for the safety of the passengers and crew. Basically the same crew as the first leg of this repositioning cruise and very little change in the attitude or the work ethic of the activities crew. A ...
From the beginning, air transportation to Perth Australia was long and needed 2 transfers. Check-in was one of the longest time periods (30 minutes) once at the counter we have ever spent of the 7 cruises we have taken with RCCL
Our cabin (9672) as well as approximately 150 others had problems with the stool in the bath room not flushing or flushing when it wanted to and it took 5 days for ...
We chose back to back cruises starting in Perth on to Adelaide, Melbourne and NZ finishing in Sydney and then 8 days to Brisbane and the Barrier Reef again finishing in Sydney.
We chose the cruise solely based on the itinerary and were not disappointed although the weather could have been better in the early stages.
We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 midship (8316) - excellent location and ...
The Voyager is looking very tired and I was really disappointed that such a large ship is so poorly laid out. Maintenance and general cleaning in common areas needs a major upgrade. Dust prevalent, tired furniture, mouldy loose fittings, counted 16 globes out in Dining chandelier. There is so much wasted space. Had a lot of difficulty in finding a quiet place to just sit and relax in peace. The ...
The cruise was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime as we had never travelled to the other side of the world before and we had previously had very good cruises with the company in europe see main issues on cabin review .However the long term saving and planning was ruined by our experience. The entertainment was not very good with only two dancing and singing shows compared to the offerings in ...
