Iceland Intensive Cruise

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

Just returning from Iceland intensive cruise and were very pleased with the trip. All of the Azamara ships are old but they are well maintained. I am sure if you looked for it you could spot areas which could be improved but we don’t approach a holiday in that way and didn’t see anything we were unhappy about. As appears in most reviews cabins are on the small side and so is the shower room. ...

Azamara is disorganized and unpleasant

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

I chose this cruise because the itinerary looked good and azamara was owned by Royal Caribbean but was higher end. This by far is the absolute worst cruise comyI have been on. I have gone on many Princess, royal caribbean, Norwegian and celebrity cruises without any complaints. Issues with Azamara began prior to the cruise. Azamara lost all their information of my fully paid cruise, hotel ...

This was our first Azamara cruise, and with continuing issues with their website, we were a little concerned about the whole experience. I'm used to having all my documents in hand and luggage tags on all my bags before I board, and that just didn't happen; but that being said, it was the smoothest embarkation ever! We realized early on that we love being on a smaller ship. The staff was ...

We were looking forward to getting back into cruising for a long time and the prospect of cruising on the Oceania we had come to love was very exciting. We booked a 28 day B2B cruise of the Norway and UK starting 5th August 2023 from Oslo. First impressions. The ship looked great. We had only sailed on the Marina previously. Boarding - was efficient and we were herded onboard quickly ...

We stayed in an Oceania Suite where we enjoyed the personal staff who cared for us and our suite. They were absolutely wonderful. In fact the entire crew was wonderful. They were always smiling, pleasant, professional and very eager to help. We did not receive our luggage from Lufthansa until the seventh day of the cruise. We greatly appreciated the efforts of Concierge staff for tracking this ...

My first cruise with Oceania was in 2015 on the Riveria. Terrific itinerary from Athens to Barcelona. We enjoyed it immensely. Not so much years later. I felt stuck in a time warp with the EXACT SAME formulaic routine. Boring ! Oceania could be a fantastic option but has failed to keep up with the times and is stuck in an era that my mother barely remembers ! I love the idea of a quieter, ...

We initially selected this cruise back in 2019, based on the itinerary especially calling into St Petersburg for 2 nights, but of course this was cancelled. The ports were varied from great ( Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki,Talinn) to average(Riga, Gdansk, due to the excursion, an hour on the bus and very limiting time and a lot of guide talk) to not so good at all- Aarhus and Kotka. Visby was ...

Wonderful trip Artic In Depth

After initial difficulties over travel arrangements, not Scenic's fault but not well handled, we arrived on board with some anxieties. Delighted to say all concerns were dispelled by a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Staff at every level, (cabin, restaurants, bars, excursion team) went above and beyond to meet guests' desires including a special menu arranged in Koko restaurant after a ...

We went on the cruise before the one in the drop down box so it was Norwegian fjords and then a week in Svalbad. Norwegian fjords were lovely and we had a great helicopter flight over Geiranger fjord. The submarine was an experience but nothing to see in pretty murky fjord water - waste of money really. Off ship excursions hit and miss - few good others absolutely rubbish. The arctic cruising ...

Norwegian Fiords. Oslo to Artic Circle and back to Southampton

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Marina

User Avatar

10+ Cruises • Age 70s

We have cruised many times with various companies and found the Marina is still a fabulous ship showing no signs of age despite a visit to dry dock being scheduled. We had a veranda cabin which had a full bath and separate shower and the cabin was the size of some penthouse cabins on other ships. The mattress and bedding were superb. Dining was excellent in all locations throughout the ...
