Just returning from Iceland intensive cruise and were very pleased with the trip.
All of the Azamara ships are old but they are well maintained. I am sure if you looked for it you could spot areas which could be improved but we don’t approach a holiday in that way and didn’t see anything we were unhappy about.

I chose this cruise because the itinerary looked good and azamara was owned by Royal Caribbean but was higher end.
This by far is the absolute worst cruise comyI have been on. I have gone on many Princess, royal caribbean, Norwegian and celebrity cruises without any complaints.

This was our first Azamara cruise, and with continuing issues with their website, we were a little concerned about the whole experience. We stayed in an Oceania Suite where we enjoyed the personal staff who cared for us and our suite. They were absolutely wonderful. In fact the entire crew was wonderful. They were always smiling, pleasant, professional and very eager to help. We did not receive our luggage from Lufthansa until the seventh day of the cruise. My first cruise with Oceania was in 2015 on the Riveria. Terrific itinerary from Athens to Barcelona. We enjoyed it immensely. Not so much years later. I felt stuck in a time warp with the EXACT SAME formulaic routine. Boring !

We went on the cruise before the one in the drop down box so it was Norwegian fjords and then a week in Svalbad. Norwegian fjords were lovely and we had a great helicopter flight over Geiranger fjord. The submarine was an experience but nothing to see in pretty murky fjord water - waste of money really. We have cruised many times with various companies and found the Marina is still a fabulous ship showing no signs of age despite a visit to dry dock being scheduled.
We had a veranda cabin which had a full bath and separate shower and the cabin was the size of some penthouse cabins on other ships. The mattress and bedding were superb.
