Really enjoyable transatlantic on this new ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Oceania Vista

This was our third Oceania cruise and the first on Vista (previous ones on Marina and Nautica). It was also our first transatlantic and we were really looking forward to all those sea days – we knew it would be a much more relaxing holiday than O’s usual port intensive cruises. We’d flown from our local airport to London, on the Sunday, staying overnight at Heathrow, then on to Miami the next ...

This is my review of the Oceania cruise on the Sirena ship from Miami to the Canary Islands that lasted 2 weeks from 27 March to 10 April 2024. The food for all 3 meals plus afternoon tea, service, both cabin, reception and dining, and entertainment were excellent. In particular, the cruise director, Leslie Howard, was fantastic. The ship was in great shape; it was very well maintained. It ...

A millennials love/hate relationship with Oceania.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Oceania Vista

Let me give you all some background so you understand the perspective we are coming from. My husband I are both millennials and have almost exclusively sailed on the so-called “ultra-luxury” lines, i.e. Regent, Silversea, Crystal and Seabourn as we prefer the small ship experience. Since childhood, my husband had always wanted to take a transatlantic cruise. Thanks to the fact that ships are ...

Nice cruise! Lost two ports due to bad weather. Royal Navy Shipyard and The Azores. First time on Vista. Cabins are not sound proof! We could hear our neighbors loud and clear! Horizons has changed no coffee machines and no food! Also coffee machines continued to be out of order in the concierge lounge! Loved the new Embers restaurant. Staff was excellent! Cabin was very nice had a concierge ...

First timers on Oceania. Embarkation in Miami was great. Quickly checked in and right onto the ship. We had one of the small suites, penthouse. Beautiful interior. Oversized outside veranda with loungers and 2 deck chairs was wonderful. Tons of storage space. Bathroom very nice. Although the shampoo/soap etc portrayed as something special...not...and bottles very hard to dispense. ...

Don't Waste Your Money!

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Oceania Vista

Run, run as fast as you can! The service on this ship was pathetic at best. The staff tried as hard as they could. However, I also think the lack of a proper number of staff causes burnout and permeates an "I don't care" attitude. The destination team did not provide the services advertised for Silver Cove, and the overall cruise was not worth the money. There are better experiences for the cost ...

A new, well designed ship, makes a big difference

My wife and I went on a cruise from Miami to Miami, from March 16 to March 27, 2024, in the Oceania Vista ship. Following are our comments: The ship: The Oceania Vista is a very well designed ship. Not only is it beautiful, but also has many public spaces for passengers and we never felt overwhelmed by the other 1,200 fellow guests. We always found where to sit or sunbathe around the ...

A beautiful ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oceania Vista

We chose the Oceania Vista because it was a smaller ship. The staff were so nice, friendly, and accommodating in every way. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were the biggest and nicest we have ever seen on a cruise ship and we have taken about 35 cruises. The food was absolutely delicious! The only problem was the quality of meat at the specialty steakhouse. It was very tough and ...

We recently disembarked Oceania’s newest ship Vista here are our experiences. Flights arranged by Oceania we do Not recommend please contact me for specifics. Pre hotel arranged by Oceania in Miami the Elser hotel. We do not recommend we had to wait 6 hours on an open hot roof for our room to be ready. There is no restaurant in the hotel nor is there a coke or snack machine. We had to cross ...
