having sailed with NCL before on a Hawaii cruise I was keen to do a back to back Med cruise with them. I have cruised around 20 times with Princess, P and O, Holland America, Saga, Thompson, My Cruises etc. and I have never been so dissatisfied. We chose the NCL Mediterranean Cruise because we like to get the most for our money. We traveled during the shoulder season when it is a little cooler, and the prices are cheaper. The up-side is you have fewer tourists, and you are able to "negotiate" with the vendors because they have fewer people shopping at one time. It took something like 15-20 minutes from the time we took our luggage out of the car at the Miami Cruise Terminal until we got to our stateroom. We booked this cruise for the itinerary, even though we had visited most ports of call before. We did hesitate about booking with NCL, as we are big fans of Celebrity and Royal Caribbean.
