The good the bad and the ugly
"On that last cruise night, I ended up going to bed at about 10 (didn't know about the early departure until I arrived in my cabin), got up at 3 and with the flight back to the states didn't get in my own bed until 8:30 PM the following night.Several other shows kept us mesmerized the entire cruise...."Read More

NCL GETAWAY 9/15-10/1 16 DAY WESTERN EUROPEAN CRUISE THE GOOD: The food was uniformly good. Whether in the main dining room, the buffet or the specialty dining rooms I had no complaint. Plentiful servings promptly served. Entertainment was top notch. The dancers in "BURN THE FLOOR" were as energetic as one could imagine. The "MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET" was superb. All 4 of the ...

Good but Improvements could be made

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We chose this cruise for the price and the ports. Our cruise included a good drink package and $50 off of each excursion for one of us as well as two specialty dinners. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We did not like having to pass through the smoky casino to get to restaurants, and that the smoke infiltrated the atrium areas. Time for a new air exchange system or don't the smokers ...

I loved this cruise. I loved the outside looks and the inside of the ship was beautiful. Go transport to and from the cruise line, so that was wonderful (with an outside company). It was so fun and so easy to board and debark the ship during most days at port. Getting onto the ships during the first day was a little chaotic, but it was an easy process. I loved all the food. It was phenomenal EVERY ...

We are experienced cruisers with 16 cruisers under our belt. We aren't really loyal to any brand and have done Royal Caribbean, Carnival and NCL cruises over the last 29 years. We are a couple in our 50's and we like to be entertained, good food and nice ports. Pre-Cruise - We flew from BWI to Orlando on Avelo Airlines. (Avelo Airlines was a huge mistake, all kinds of issues including being ...

Not a Baltic but Transatlantic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

The 14/06/22 departure was not a Baltic cruise but a 13 nights repositioning cruise from Copenhagen to Port Canaveral. On arrival at Copenhagen Airport I was surprised by the very well organised Norwegian meet and greet. It took about one hour before they started transportation to the ship. Some people got nervous, expected huge lines at check in, and preferred to take a taxi. There was no ...

We chose this cruise to visit places we had never been. We spent extra time in Copenhagen and enjoyed our visit there. The ship was very nice, clean and well maintained and all of the crew were gracious and helpful. The restaurants on the ship were good but the food in the buffet was so good that we chose to eat in the buffet most of the time. The excursions are not worth the money or ...

My husband and I got married in the courthouse swearing we would have a wedding eventually! Wellllll 3 years later we decided to use the money we were saving to go on a trip! We chose this journey across the atlantic and we are so happy we did we absolutely loved it! the only small negative is that the water was too rough to pull into ponta del gata so we were at sea for like 7 days straight. Not ...

I chose this cruise for the transatlantic itinerary. We did our first TA last year on a different line and loved it. We tried to book it a year out onboard a different NCL ship but it was sold out. Kept looking online and eventually snagged a guarantee minisuite. After final payment and closer to sailing, the prices dropped and we upgraded ourselves to a Haven spa minisuite. We couldn’t be happier ...

Overall a great experience

We chose this cruise because it ended in New Orleans, right across the lake from our home town of Slidell. We have never been to Europe and thought it would be a good opportunity to see our roots, and loved the idea of a transatlantic crossing. We flew on our own to Copenhagen two days early, and thank goodness we did because our flights got delayed due to weather and took many more hours ...
