Voyager of the Seas - Bermuda

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

Having cruised extensively with different lines, I found that this cruise was fantastic. The Windjammer was a zoo on embarkation, but that has been my experience on any cruise that I haven't been in the first group of people to get onboard. The Voyager was the nicest ship I've been on, not by far, but just for what is offered onboard, not that I did everything available, but I was glad the ...

First let me say this trip was great. This was my third cruise and everyone enjoyed it. I've read a lot of complaints on this board about this ship. All I have to say is that if you want to be miserable on your vacation, you will be if you nit pick everything thing that does not go your way or is not exactly the way you think it should be. Embarkation - Unfortunately this was a disaster. The ...

Let me start with my cruise history. The Voyager of the Seas was my first Royal Caribbean experience but I have cruised three other times. One time each with Carnival and Celebrity and once on a small ship no longer in service. We are a family of 4 with my kids DS 11 and DD 14. Over all I would rate Royal Caribbean just where I figured it would fall, right in between Celebrity and Carnival. I am ...

My Family: Me dad (turning 41 on cruise) Wife, Son (7), Daughter (2), Previous Cruises (9).  For a family of four on a 9 day cruise we got a great deal, we booked the cruise for the week in November that NJ schools are closed so that our son would not need to miss school. EMBARKATION: Cape Liberty, NJ (embarkation a nightmare). We planned on taking our son out of school early on embarkation day ...

Review of My Cruise ~ 11/4/05-11/13/05 On Board Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas 11/2/05 - Days till cruise 2: I found out through Cruise Critic that Voyager was delayed in Bermuda, and not expected to arrive on time for our Friday 5pm departure. 11/3/05 - days till cruise 1: I finished my day at work at 2pm, came home, finished packing, making sure I had my shoe rack door hanger, ...

The dining average rating is brought up by Portofino. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Based on the negative feedback from other passengers, we never set foot in the dining room. The buffet was OK to better-than-OK. Service was OK, but most of the staff seemed disorganized, stand-offish and, at times, disinterested. The ship was too large for our tastes. Interestingly, ...

This was our 8th cruise, second on Royal Caribbean. We traveled as a family of 4, 2 girls aged 11 and 14 and 3 other of my daughters friends aged 14-16. We used the free shuttle from LI and were picked up at 1:30 pm and made 2 stops. Got to the boat at 4:30, so no one was still waiting to get on board. It was late, but the convenience of getting there was worth it. All shops and bars closed at 5 ...

Embarkation: Very smooth, very well run getting ON the ship. Leaving the ship at the end - a different story. We waited and waited in one of the three areas they wanted you to wait, and then when our color was called, we found out that they were letting all colors off the ship anyway, whether it was called or not. Very chaotic. Public rooms: Beautiful and clean. Even though the ship was booked, ...

Leaving from Cape Liberty was a breeze, much better then New York. We arrived at the terminal around 11:30am, and were on board by 12:20, our room was ready upon arrival. The other two couples we were traveling with had to wait until after 1pm to get into their rooms. We were impressed with the size of the room, having sailed NCL balcony cabins, we thought that the room felt more spacious on ...

This was such a disappointment. We heard so much about RCL Voyager of the Seas that we had to try her....never again. The food was not up to par, the entertainment was fair but not impressed at all. At certain times during the day, there was no food available except if you wanted to PAY for it....Johnny Rockets was a huge disappointment. We were forced to eat there since nothing else was opened. ...
